
Club History
The present Club was formed in December 1991 with the emphasis placed on social outings
along with the appreciation and preservation of this famous Ford marque: THE FALCON GT.
Membership generally runs at around 180 per year with members from as far reaching places
as Darwin, Mt.Gambier, Kimba, Pt.Lincoln, Roxby Downs and Broken Hill. In fact
approximately 20% of membership is outside of the Adelaide metropolitan area. A monthly
newsletter helps to keep everybody in touch and up to date on Club activities as well as
interesting articles about the GT Falcons history.
The Falcon GT Club of S.A. is currently affiliated with the Street Machine Association of
S.A. giving benefits to members such as reduced entry fees into car shows - for both
spectators and participants, also access to social activities such as cruise nights and
observation rallies, etc.

As can be seen the Club has a wide and varied amount of
interests and activities all centred on the appreciation of the Falcon GT.
When you join the Falcon GT Club of SA you will receive a durable membership card which
will get you discounts at various business around Adelaide and a monthly newsletter to keep you up to date on club activities-swap meets and
other motoring activities happening in and around Adelaide.
The Club has regular meetings held on the second Monday of every month at 7.30pm at the
German Shepherd Dog Club Rooms at West Beach Road West Beach. These are a great way to meet some of the members and
see how the Club operates.
Then there are the associated benefits that go with being a Club member, such as discounts
on insurance with companies like SGIC and Shannons, organised and subsidised
regular events and activities plus a wealth of knowledge and assistance to be had from
associating with other GT Falcon owners.
